Dengar laraku, suara hatiku memanggil namamu
It has been almost two weeks. Oh okay, let me calculate again. One week and two days maybe? Huh? Of what? Ohhhh my bad. The practicum, dear. It has been one week and two days of practicum as an English teacher in a secondary school somewhere near the beach in Kelantan. Fuhhh. How was it, you asked? So far so good, well, despite the ups and downs, despite the relief classes and well the unexpected as well. Oh, so many well oh I can just jump into the well. Well well well.
School is okay. The library is yet to be opened but no worries, it is not the end of the world. The good thing is, the school is new and the field is soooooo big. Not that I will use it for my English lessons but hey, it's a big green field that we are talking about here. Go greeeeeennnnnnn ahhahaha :D
Students? Well, they are not robots I assure you so that means they are humans. Humans are unpredictable. So yeah, the students are unpredictably interesting.
Lessons? Ahha. Let's not go too much into that area. A ha ha haaa :D But, honestly, teaching is fun...if you know how to enjoy every bits of it. This practicum period is tough and will be tougher in the coming days (please read: Sports Day, co-curricular activities, meetings etc), so do send every one of us prayers. Let's pray for the best for all of us. Be strong, girls and guys! :)
Will we be like this in the future, dear fellow English teachers? Ahha.
