The sound of tennis ball and swords.

Sobasaku [Samurai X anime OST]

Fridays in Jeli are usually my lazy days.
That explains the amount of anime episodes
and live action movies I've watched throughout the day.

Two episodes of Prince of Tennis anime.
A live action of Prince of Tennis.
A live action of Rurouni Kenshin (2012 movie).

After watching all the above,
my head is full of Ryoma Echizen, Karupin, Fuji Shuusuke,
Himura Kenshin, Kaoru Kamiya and Japanese feudal era.

And now, I can't wait for the next live action movie to come out:
Attack on Titan (based on the manga Shingeki no Kyojin)!
Kyaaaaaaa~~

Bad. This is bad.

"Sword is merely a tool for killing.
It is the person that actually kills."
[Himura Kenshin, Rurouni Kenshin]

"Mada mada dane."
(No, not good enough)
[Ryoma Echizen, Prince of Tennis]

: 10th July 2015.
: 10.30 p.m.
: Jeli, Kelantan.
: Both live actions are based from the animes I used to watch when I was a kid.
I still remember how I used to wait for the animes every weekend.
There were quite a number of times I was scolded
for spending my early mornings watching animes
rather than helping my mother with the housechores.
Oh Lord, please don't let my children have this trait of mine.

Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus.

Kimi Ni Todoke OST

Awww pity Kazehaya kun. That girl definitely misinterpreted his message. Why don't you rephrase your sentence, dear? If you guys say girls are difficult to understand, so do your subtle messages. Girls tend to think the other way around. So, please be clear in giving any messages. If you guys are serious, please tell them you are serious. There is no harm in doing that. Ahha.
For guys out there, please bear in mind, there are two types of girls. The first type; they are those who tend to overthink things. If you tell them some things, they will definitely try their best to decipher the message behind each word. So, if there is no underlying meaning behind what you said, these girls will be able to come out with anything they think those words might mean. These girls; they usually the cautious type. They tend to be more careful in replying to your messages and to respond to you. And most of the times, what you see is not actually what they really are. Complicated, huh? But most girls fall in this type. Ahhahaha. The second type; they just tend to take things as it is. In other words, they are the 'blurred' type. These girls; they are slow at understanding hints and subtle messages. Therefore, if you are trying to approach and getting to know them better, these girls, they need to be told directly that you are approaching them. If not, they will just put you in a depressing place called 'friendzone'. Wohoooo. This type is complicated too. Only brave guys will be able to get their message across with these girls.
For your information, a lot of my friends fall in both types. And that is why a lot of my beautiful friends out there are still waiting for the one (even though they look like they already had someone). So, guys, good luck! *wink

Back in his childhood in West Rukongai, he was so skilled with spinning tops that he became the local undefeated champion. He works very hard, but his motive seems to be that if he finishes quickly, he can return to his afternoon nap.
He believes in the saying "children who sleep well, grow well."

Shiro kun, if I sleep well, can my ideas grow well too? *puppy eyes*

Anohana.

Have you ever experienced losing a friend dear to you?
Have you ever been trapped in the past even how many times you runaway from it?
Do you have some friends in your childhood years that you are not seeing anymore?

If yes, this is the anime series that worth watching:

Title:
Ano Hi Mita Hana No Namae o Bokutachi Wa Mada Shiranai a.k.a Anohana.
(We Still Don't Know The Name of the Flower We Saw That Day).

Plot:
Five childhood friends grow apart after the death of Meiko Honma, a close playmate of them all.
Jinta Yadomi, leader of the group when they were kids, neglects high school and lives as a shut-in
when he unexpectedly starts seeing the ghost of Meiko, who can only interact with him and no one else.
She has returned to ask Jinta to fulfill the forgotten wish she made as a kid.

5 centimeters per second.

5 centimeters per second.

Anime (movie) review:

A tale of two people, Tono Takaki and Shinohara Akari, who were close friends but gradually grow farther and farther apart as time moves on. They become separated because of their families yet continue to exchange contact in the form of letters. Yet as time continues to trudge on, their contact with one another begins to cease.
Years pass and the rift between them grows ever larger. However, Takaki remembers the times they have shared together, but as life continues to unfold for him, he wonders if he would be given the chance to meet Akari again as the tale embarks on Takaki’s realization of the world and people around him.
This is a movie in 3 parts that follows the thoughts and relationship of 2 young people as they meet and part, both from their point of view and from people around them.

The movie is named 5 Centimeters Per Second for the speed at which cherry blossom (a.k.a sakura) petals fall, petals being a metaphorical representation of humans, reminiscent of the slowness of life and how people often start together but slowly drift into their separate ways.

Such a significant name yet very melancholic, don't you think so?

: For your information, the image header of this blog (right now) is taken from this movie.
Why? Because of the melancholic feeling that it gives me every time I look at it.
I don't know why, maybe because of the sakura tree.
I always find sakura trees to be very melancholic.

Sacrifice.

There are many types of sacrifice in this world. Whatever it is, sacrifice requires a lot of courage, strong will and patience. Without all of these, one cannot fully sacrifice oneself for anything or everything. Hehe, actually I've been watching an anime series entitled 'Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion' and a Japanese drama entitled 'Shotgun Marriage', erm yup, two at a time, erm,  recently. Both touch a lot on sacrifice. Yeah, sacrifice is not easy. But, if you're willing to sacrifice anything for the one that you loved, no matter how pain it is,  it will eventually become a sweet pain in the end. That's the beauty of sacrifice. But, first, please make sure what you sacrifice for is worthy enough. Don't simply sacrifice over trivial and stupid things, it's just not worth it. Believe me, it's not.

Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion.
This episode made me cry so hard. Why did Lelouch has to suffer all by himself? Wuuu~

'Shotgun Marriage' starring Yutaka Takenouchi and Kyoko Hirosue.

All these things revolving sacrifice make me ponder on this one thing. Sungguh hebat kan pengorbanan Nabi Ibrahim dan Nabi Ismail?

: 16th April 2010.
: 06.07 a.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: I know I shouldn't watch any of these because I have an assignment to complete, but never mind.
Too preoccupied with assignment is not good for my brain isn't it? I need to rest and relax for a while.
By the way, I've actually finished watching these two series long before,
but since it's an assignment period, I ended up watching all those old series back. Hahaha.

Out of blue, I miss you.

Out of blue, I miss you.
Do you still remember all the time we spent together?
Can you still recall the fun and excitement we both had back then?
Gundam Seed? Fullmetal Panic Fumoffu? Naruto?
And do you still remember the promise that we hold back then?
The promise that on one fine day we will cycle together again?
Like what we used to do when we were young?
Well, let us both pray for that one fine day to arrive.
I still remember you see.

P/S: By the way, on that day, don't forget to bring me new anime CDs yeah?

[This link really reminds me of you. On that day, lets cycle together like this!

: 26th January 2010.
: 12.50 a.m.
: Plymouth,U.K.
: Hey, do you still cycle now? Don't tell me you don't cycle anymore. It's very healthy to cycle you see.
Don't just drive your car, do cycle once in a while, will you?
Because, the next time we meet, I want to have a bicycle race with you!
