The sound of the fan
As I am typing this, I have just finished breakfast and started to plan for my lesson at noon. I should have planned the lesson or maybe do the PLC reports that school wants me to, but nope, being a procrastinator, I don't want to do that.
Oh, in case you guys don't know, I am actually at my in laws'. Supposedly, I should be at my hometown in Malacca in this pandemic period (Covid 19 is a bummer I tell you), but since my husband and I are still in Long Distance Relationship (LDR), we are allowed to meet as long as we have the permission letter from the police. So, in my case, sometimes I am at my parents' and some other times I am at my in laws'.
Both my husband and son are still asleep. They are not morning people, you see. Hence, I get the whole morning to myself. I get to have breakfast with my father and mother in law, I get to hang the clothes, I get to scroll through my social media and of course, I get to plan my lesson (which I am not doing now). My son is almost 2 years 6 months now. How time flies right? He is growing up so fast to the point where I don't even remember how he was when he was so small in my arms. He likes to play, he is so clever at being all sulky if he doesn't get what he wants (lemah betul iman ibu dia hahhaa), he enjoys being under the sun (that explains why he looks so tanned compared to when he was a baby), he loves vehicles (you name it; car? bus? excavator? tractor? helicopter? fuhhhh), he loves drinking cold drinks and mashaAllah he looks so big now and I am not ready for that. Plus, he is going to be a big brother soon alhamdulillah. Please pray for me okay? I am so excited to meet the little one but mannn, I am anxious at the same time. I don't want to go through the post partum period again. Of all the trimesters, for me, the forth trimester is the most challenging one.
Oh my, I am getting sleepy. Eating rice in the morning is just the fuel for my sleepiness. My mother in law cooks so well. I don't know why that I always have a big appetite at my in laws'. Maybe because the different styles of cooking and when I get to taste something different, I just want more hahahha. This time I don't crave for western food like before. I only crave for paru and vietnamese rolls hahhahaha. So random. I don't really feel like eating a lot and apparently my weight doesn't really go up the scale like the previous pregnancy. I am now at my 34 weeks plus and I only gain 6 kg this time around. One month more to go and I don't think I will gain a lot. The previous pregnancy I gained around 14 kg can you imagine? I felt like a whale hahahha though most of my friends said I was being ridiculous. I felt like that okayy? This time around I feel fitter a bit; I think it has to do with the consistent stretching and exercises I do starting from the first trimester. It's true when people say, exercises and light stretching help in making sure pregnant ladies feel better. I am thinking of getting more physically active after I deliver this little one later. I want to be a happy and healthy mom. Please pray for me okayyy?
You know what? Now it's the time to start thinking of names for the little one. I don't know why but this time I feel so anxious in doing so. To tell you the truth, when I named my first born, it never occurred in my mind that his name will be one of the popular names for the babies that year. His first name Yusuff is the name that I always have at the back of my mind, even before I got married. Well, I used to like Amar or Umar but as time goes by, I happen to love how Yusuff sounds. Plus, it is the name of one of the prophets and I just love to recite Surah Yusuf when I was pregnant with him. But, mannnnn, after I named him that, so many of my friends name their sons Yusuf or Yusof or Eusuf which is similar hahhaha. At first I was being so moody for that, yelaaa you have been carrying your son for 9 months and you just can't wait to call him My dear Yusuff....and then, bammmm, so many Yusufs all around you. It felt like hello, I named him first though, you guys have months to think of other names hahahah that was so silly of me at that time. However, as time goes by, I just couldn't be bothered. Even though there are so many Yusufs around (it is awkward sometimes when people asking about Yusuf like which Yusuf you mean), this little Yusuff is forever my Yusuff. Alhamdulillah for that. As long as he is healthy and happy, I am a happy mom. Plus, people know my little Yusuff and other Yusufs are not the same.
So, due to that, I am so anxious for this baby. I have this one name which is always there at the back of my mind but recently, one of the Instagram influencers (yeahh they call people with a lot of followers as influencers) whom I follow online, named her baby with the same name. Alamak macam bakal jadi the same case pulak. Therefore I ended up with another name as plan B and I am praying hard, please please please let me have that name this time hahahahha over.
Anyway, I should have started planning my lesson soon before my Yusuff is up and about. I kinda miss ranting here so that explains why. There are so many thoughts that I wish I can just pour them down here but mannn, time is gold.
Please pray for the safety and well-being of both me and my little one okay? One more month to go and fuhhhhh it will start all over again. May those who are also in the same boat be blessed with healthy and happy baby and may those who plan for the next one be eased by Allah.
