I have to do this one more thing before year 2014.

Just a smile and the rain is gone

For a person who does not like to watch any horror movie with unknown entity (in other words: ghost), I watched a horror movie yesterday. Believe it! Oh I can't believe I did watch 'The Conjuring' with my siblings at midnight. And today, before midnight, we are planning to watch another horror movie; Insidious Chapter 2.
Oh well, the movie was something. I don't mind watching thriller type of movie with psychos madness and killings and blood and everything, but I do mind watching ghost type of movie. I am not scared, but more of dislike to that type of story. You know, when people encounter ghosts, they kind of scared of ghosts more than God...so that's why I don't like about it. However, ironically, I do like the movie 'Insidious' which I watched with my siblings around...err, last year?
Alas, for 'The Conjuring', I gave it a try since it is based on true story (as they proclaimed). Not bad. And not that scary, thanks to my younger sister who spoiled the story while watching ahhahaha. So, tonight, we are going to watch the sequel for my errr...should I say favourite horror movie; Insidious? I hope the sequel will not be as bad as every sequel in the history of films should be. Oh well, whatever it is, I will watch it with my siblings yeaaahhhhhh.
I guess I have overcome my fear dislike for watching horror movie yesterday, and I hope today too! Have a great night too everyone! :)

Sambal sotong for lunch, alhamdulillah.

You are beautiful, no matter what they say

It is hard to stay productive.
But if it is hard, doesn't mean it is impossible.

Let's be productive each day.
Have a blessed day, everyone! :)

: Someone told me that she actually read my blog.
Oh, I am so honoured to have someone sweet read this blog ahhaha.
Why on earth this dull and emo-ish blog still has a place in people's heart, I wonder.

It's already 10 years, eh?

Why Did I Fall In Love With You

This might be a sign that I have finally managed to move on.
This might be a sign that I have finally grown up.
This might be a sign that I have finally given up.
This might be a sign that I have finally had something else to do.

Dear,

I am finally letting this balloon fly away on its own.
The time has passed, but the memories remain.
I shall always remember the times I had with the balloon and the laughter and tears I had throughout the times.
Happy always, dearies.
Go and create more beautiful melodies.
Though I may not follow all the songs, you guys still have a special place in my heart.
Mr Mismatched Eyes, goodbye and saranghae! :3

: To be honest with you, I still listen to Korean songs.
However, not as much as I used to before.
But today, I am listening to you :)

A soul that sees beauty may sometimes walk alone.

You're already the voice inside my head

The highlights of this month:

1) My comrades and I had an interview to secure our job-to-be in which I failed to see where is this heading to.
2) The most frequent question of this entire month: "When will we be posted for the job?"
3) Hello school holidays, hello weddings!
4) The most annoying question of this entire month: "When is your wedding?" Ahhaaa, why? do you want to sponsor my wedding? (amboii, marah nampak ahhaha ;p )
5) More reminiscing and reminiscing of the past. Old photos and videos are among the victims.
6) Being the eldest daughter is a noble yet horrible job at times. Gotta be stronger; physically, mentally and spiritually. Ohhh, and financially in which I am lacking at this area.
7) There were times where I had to choose between two roads and here I am, on neither roads.
8) Loving the healthy smoothies made using our own fruits and blender (ahhaha yeah right, takkan amik jiran punya).
9) Been reading random articles; from 'The differences between Western skincare and Asian skincare' to 'Is King Arthur Real?' to 'Are You An Introvert' to 'Jack The Ripper' to 'Controlling Your Anger' to any other random topics which I forgot what.
10) Been meeting up with old friends who made me realised that I am jobless and yet blessed. Oh, we all are.
..........................

I wonder in which aspect that makes my friends think of me.

I wonder if they ever missed me like how I missed them.

I wonder until when will we miss each other.

When you love, you commit.

Evergreen [Will Young]

Being the eldest child is not an easy thing.
I love my siblings, my mom, my dad and my cats.
However, I hate it when I am the one who have to do a lot of things.
All those house chores; from doing laundry, sweeping the floor, cooking, cleaning and stuffs.
I hate it especially if I am responsible in doing all that every single day.
All this commitment, I hate it.
But, there are many verses in Quran mention about love.
The word 'love' appears in over 90 places in Quran.
However, interestingly,
it doesn't define the word 'love'.
Instead, it speaks about
the very first consequence of love;
commitment.
So dear self, if you love your family and cats,
be committed.
In whatever chores you are doing, be committed.
Allah pays every sweat.
Just please, please please please don't complain.

Five Lessons About How To Treat People : Lesson 2

Five Lessons About How To Treat People
— Author Unknown

2. Second Important Lesson - “Pickup In The Rain”

One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car.
A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960s. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxicab.
She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man’s door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home.
A special note was attached. It read:
“Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband’s bedside just before he passed away. God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others.”
Sincerely, Mrs. Nat King Cole.

: These days, it is hard to differentiate between people in need
and people who want to take you for granted.
Even so, be kind to people.

In the next few hours, I will go for my job interview.

When we collide we come together

smile.

Jodoh pasti bertemu

.............................

I went to both Gurney Paragon and Gurney Plaza today. My dear friends and I had a quick tour, oh well, window shopping to be exact at Gurney Paragon before we went to Gurney Plaza for a Korean barbecue at Seoul Garden.
Gurney Paragon is a grand shopping complex, I shall say. There are more branded outlets there in comparison to Gurney Plaza, which I think explains the reason why there are more foreigners in Paragon. There are a few outlets which remind me of Europe and the U.K. But well, since I am jobless and the currency that I am using now is Ringgit Malaysia, I could only window shopping and silently gasped at the price. I missed shopping in the U.K (tetiba lols). While randomly roaming around the Paragon, I noticed a few restaurants in which I think I could give a try when I have a lot of money in my pocket. But until that time comes, I will just wait and wait. However, even though Paragon is a grand place for shopping, it doesn't offer a good place to pray for the Muslims. The prayer room is sooooo small, as small as a store room. Only three people at maximum can pray there at one time. I am not exaggerating here, really I am not. I hope the room is only temporary and a bigger room is being prepared in the future. Overall, Paragon is a nice place to window shopping and a good place to do a photography session with friends :p
Gurney Plaza also offers branded outlets but it also offers a lot more affordable outlets for jobless people like me. At least I can buy something and roaming around feeling like I can buy anything I want when I am not jobless ahhahaha. The prayer room is a lot more spacious than Paragon, that is why my friends and I decided to perform our Maghrib prayer there instead of Paragon. However, one thing that Plaza lacks is that the signboard to the prayer room is nowhere to be found. I had to ask the cleaner whom I think are Muslims to find the room. Oh well, we can't expect everything to be perfect, right?
Err wait, why on earth am I writing a review on shopping complexes? Oh well, we did have a great time though. Despite another unexpected incident happened later after our dinner in Seoul Garden, we did have a great time. And the theme song on our journey back home; Jodoh Pasti Bertemu by Afgan. Yeahhhhh.

: Thank you dear lovely driver for today.
Don't worry, it was nothing.
And don't worry, jodoh pasti bertemu ;)

Wednesday, 4 December 2013

I drove to Gurney on my own today.

My life is brilliant, my love is pure

I had a great day with my fellow Northern friends. We called ourselves--Geng Utara. Despite the bad traffic early in the morning thanks to the toll at Penang Bridge yeeaaahhhhh I love traffic jam (please note the sarcasm there), we managed to enjoy ourselves. One of our Penangite friends (well, apart from me) offered to treat us for lunch at his aunt's house so yeaaaahhhhhhh I love food (please note that I am sincerely being happy here ;p ).
Unfortunately to those Kedahan and Perakian friends, we the Penangites are among the many Penangites who don't really memorise all the roads in Penang. There are so many freaking routes on that small island and most of them are either leading you to your destination or bring you to another part of the island in which might make you end up in never ending traffic jam, so we the Penangites find it very difficult to lead the way. Please understand us, we are just normal people. Ahhaha what an excuse. But alhamdulillah, thank God for the invention of GPS. We managed to find our way yeaaahhhhh.
We spent hours in a shopping complex; eating and wandering like nobody's business. We are all jobless people now. Nevertheless, money is not everything and we did have a great fun catching up with each other. We even met one of our seniors back in the U.K.
Indeed, they are among the people I am blessed with. No matter how annoying I can be sometimes, they are there. Thank you, dear friends.

Now, after all the fun, let us wait for the upcoming interview. All the best!

: I don't know why but the phrase 'feliz navidad' keeps appearing in my brain
whenever I want to remember the name of my senior's son.
What a way of remembering people's name, dear self.
