Oh, so gothic!

Gothic.
How do you define gothic?
You are asking me?
Hehehe. My definition of gothic will be this MV~

Opps, it's a Korean song.
Sorry, I can't help it.
In case you don't know, I am more into Kpop, Jpop, anime series, manga and things like that.
They are all my cup of tea. I mean, my interests.
I just can't pretend that I don't like them.
However, it doesn't mean that I don't look at other things apart from them.
I do, but probably because I don't explicitly show that I do, it seems like I don't.
But I do look at other things as well!
Oh, how should I explain this?
...
...
Hey, I believe you have your own interests too, right?
So, you should know what I mean!
Heh.

Oh, so gothic!

: Suddenly I'm thinking of watching an old Korean drama series; Full House. Oh no dear, you have a bundle of work to do! Please restrain yourself! Huh.

Candles.

Pernah langkahku payah
Menuju ke destinasi
Kerana malam gelap
Dan bintang hilang kerdipnya
Menjadikan arahku keliru
Ke timur atau ke barat

Bagai lilin membakar diri
Menerangi kegelapan hati
Kau curahkan bakti dan budi
Jasamu tiada berganti

Namun tanpa rasa payah
Dia memimpin tanganku
Melangkah satu persatu
Dan mencipta jejak impian
Menjadikan arahku jelas
Aku harus ke hadapan

Ohoo... aku kini rindu
Pada satu nama yang berjasa
Tuhan... beri kekuatan
Untuk mendidikku selamanya
Ku pohon restu kasihmu
Ampunkanlah guru-guruku

Semalam ku lihat dia
Di bibirnya ada kalimah
Yang bergetar saban waktu
Sambil tangan menggenggam lilin
Lilin yang tiada terpadam
Menerangi hidupku kini

Song title: Lilin Seorang Guru

*The very same song my schoolmates would sing every Teachers' Day in my former secondary school.
Dear Irshadians, don't you guys miss to hear this song performed on our school stage again?
If you guys don't, I do.

: Suddenly thinking of this song.
I don't have to wait for a specific day like Teachers' Day to post this song, do I?
Seriously, I miss all my teachers. I tried to remember all those faces and names but I just couldn't do so.
Dear teachers, no matter who or where you are, I pray that you will always be blessed by Him.
Thanks for who I am now.

A Delayed Answer.

I'm listening to: Permataku

A delayed answer,
doesn't mean God is unconcerned,
but rather, He has a larger purpose for his timing.
Trust Him!

The Haninozuka Way.

Hey assignments!
Do you think I'm scared?
Nahh.
No matter how lack of materials I am,
no matter how blurred I am,
no matter how lazy I am,
I will definitely face you!
I will settle everything the Haninozuka way, like true men!
Heh.

*head banging*

Oh Allah, I pray You. Please help me through this.

: Ohhh assignments. Do you know how I love you for making me more hardworking than I was before? See. How many posts did I write today? Thanks to you dear assignments. Heh.

My Mom is Amazing.

I love the lyrics of this song.
Why?
Because my mom is amazing!

But, as I listen to the ending of this song, the last few sentences of the lyrics struck me.
Try listening to this song and you will know.

: Thank you Allah for my mother.
Please take a good care of her just like she takes a good care of me since I was small.
No, my mistake. I take that back.
Please take a good care of her more than she takes care of me.
Why? Because, I love her so much. As much as she loves me.

Jellyfish.

Awwwww, isn't it sweet?
For a blurred Patrick Starfish, his answer is so sweet.
But hey Mr. Starfish,
rather than waiting and do nothing, why don't you do some work instead?
Like helping Spongebob Squarepants to catch the jellyfish or helping him to take care of Garry?
That will be more meaningful, don't you think so?

Time flies.

Even we all have the same 24 hours, time does fly faster.
Especially if we have work to do.
If not, even a minute feels like an hour.

: Do I have work to do? Ahhh, assignment! How can I forget about that?!

Private.

When I did it, I have my own reasons.
Oh, yeah. Everything happens for a reason.
Sometimes I forget about that.
See, even the day is getting darker, the birds are telling me to smile.
Isn't God is Amazing?

: Actually, I have been thinking of deleting this blog for quite a few times.
I have my own reasons. But I ended up privating it.
I never realise privating it will be an issue, so, this time, I decided to publicise it again.
And it's all because of you.

The power of thanks.

Thanks.
One magic word which most people tend to forget about.

Do you know that this one simple word has a very big impact on someone's life?
Whether you notice it or not, sometimes, at some point of your life, you feel like wanting to hear that word the most even after you do something that you usually do to others.

For example?
Hurm, just picture yourself in this situation.
You usually help your mother to hang clothes every morning and on every single morning you will hang those clothes without any fuss or complaints.
One fine day, you wake up as usual and find that a big pile of wet clothes are already there for you.
But this time, there are more clothes than usual and unfortunately, on that very morning, you have something else to do.
Considering that you have not enough time to hang all those clothes and it will be tiring for you alone to do so, you look at your siblings and give them a signal for help by making a sad face and telling them you have something to do later (it's a hint actually!). However, there are people who just don't have that common sense and apparently, that morning, your siblings are one of those no-common-sense people. They just say, "Oh, okay" and continue watching their TV series.
You feel like wanting to scream your lung out and crying at the same time but thinking that no one will hang those clothes apart from you, you keep all those emotions in your heart and quickly hang those clothes.
After you finish doing so, you enter the house and you feel like you deserve a recognition for what you have done.
You look at the people around you and to your dismay, nobody even notices you and nobody says anything to you.
Not a single word of gratitude for hanging the clothes despite the amount of the clothes and the fact that you have something else to do that morning.

How do you feel if this happen to you?
What do exactly you need to comfort you?

If I were in the above situation, I need nothing apart from the word "thanks".
"Thanks" will just do.
It's not that I am not sincere to do such stuff and it's not because I want to get praised.
I just want some acknowledgement for the things that I have done.
I don't want money. I don't want fame. I don't want presents.
All I need is just a word.
And that magic word is,
"Thanks."

So, please, whenever someone is helping you directly or indirectly, no matter who they are, please don't forget to say thank you.
Even though they might not ask for it, they do deserve it.

"Sesiapa yang tidak mengucapkan terima kasih bererti dia tidak berterima kasih kepada Allah."

: I always feel burdened whenever I was asked to do chores at home,
but somehow I would do most of them.
You know why? Because I think by doing so, I also help my mother.
Even though she never say thanks to me, but because she is my mother,
I should do that as my way of saying thanks for raising me.
Thank you Mak. Thank you for everything.

Thought 3

The easiest way to not get hurt is to not care,
but that's the hardest thing to do.

Monday, 8 November 2010

Ice cream.

I act differently around different people.

Mind you, I’m not fake.

I just have my own comfort zone.

That’s why I only can completely be myself when I’m with people I’m comfortable with.

Caramel.

Each day, I notice that there will be times where people will definitely talk about love, relationship and marriage. Well, after going through so many things, I just don't know what to comment on. I just don't feel like doing so at the moment.

There are many people out there who are always worried about things like this.
Without any doubt, I am one of them.
I bet you too.

But hey, why bother worrying about things that God had already planned for us?
The right person will appear. It's only the matter of time.
The time will come. Just keep believing.

In the mean time, while waiting for that right time and person, why don't we make use of the time that we have now to equip ourselves with every criteria needed.
Of course, if you want a good partner, you yourself must be good as well.
Marriage is not a picnic.
Marriage comes with responsibilities. Huge responsibilities.
Oh well. You yourself know what you want.
And you yourself know that things won't come into your hand just like that.
So, off you go and work hard for it!
Heh.

By the way, I find that this song is very cute. Both the MV and lyrics. Hahaha.

Seriously.

"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn life around. We all need each other."
[Leo Buscaglia]

Mistake.

"The proactive approach to a mistake is to acknowledge it instantly, correct and learn from it."
