More than just a movie.

....
I've been watching quite a number of movies for these past few days.
Looked like I was too free and had nothing to do than spending my leisure time watching movies, eh?
Yes, you got it right!
But hey, I did not simply watch and enjoy myself with it.
In fact, almost all of the movies that I watched convey a very deep and meaningful message.
The themes of hope, courage, humanity, dignity, love and friendship are conveyed behind every conflict, plot, action, dialogue throughout the movies.
These movies are not just the movies to entertain, but rather, they are the kind of movies which educate us to think.
If you think you are the most troubled person in the world, think again.
These movies show you that in this small world we live in, there are a lot of people who face a lot of problems, perhaps more difficult problems than you.
So, be grateful.
Treasure your life and cherish every moment.
You live only once. Value it and don't live in regret.
Remember, there will be a day when God will ask you,
"What have you done with your life?"

( Oh God, he is so sweet. I really like guys who appreciate their mother and express their love like him. Syurga di bawah tapak kaki ibu, kan? So, don't be stingy in showing your love to your mother! )

Awesome and yet very touching!

Perspective and propaganda?

....
"What? Is this true?" (dialogue hiasan semata-mata)

We, humans, tend to judge things based on our perspective.
Perspective that is formed from our own personal view and insight over everything that we come across in life.
But often, our perspective is influenced by a few unavoidable factors; family background, religion, faith, and culture.
That is why, each of us has our own perspective,
That is also the reason why, we tend to see things differently.
What we believe is true might be considered as wrong by others.

However, our perspective over the world is also influenced by the way media portrays it.
Have it ever crossed your mind that maybe what media shows us is actually the other way around?
And maybe what is happening is actually different from what is shown?
And maybe something bad is happening but media just won't show it?
This is what we call 'propaganda'.

What we see is not always what things are appear to be.
Eyes can lie. Looks can deceive. Words can persuade.

Thus, before you jump into any conclusion, think and investigate first.
To investigate does not mean you have to seek for solid evidence in pursuing the truth,
but rather, be rational and at least, try to view things from all angles.
By doing this, we can at least form a fair judgement over everything and avoid ourselves from being the victims of propaganda.
At least, misunderstanding and prejudice won't occur.
Don't you think so?

Beyond those words.

....
Some people like to say whatever they want to say,
while some prefer to keep things within themselves.

Honestly, I always envy those who can say things out, express their feelings
and share what they thought without any hesitation.

Because I, I am one of those who keeps things by myself.
I can't simply say what I want to say, I don't have the guts to express what I feel and I,
I will share things ONLY with those who are close to me.
Sentences like; "I like your smile, I enjoy being with you, I am grateful knowing you and Thank you for everything"  are hard for me to say it aloud for you, but,
but I really want you to know,
that I really want to say all these to you...
one day.

But,
but I just can't.
Instead, I try my best to show it to you rather than saying it.
Now, I'm looking at you.
Can't you see?

[An inspiration from this picture. Suddenly I feel like wanting to be in Detective Conan series. At least Shinichi Kudo will always be by my side! Haha, ridiculous!]

[P/S: Don't ever hesitate to express your love towards your family and friends. If you don't tell them, how on earth will they know about it? (Well, it's hard for me but at least I'm trying) ]

Out of blue, I miss you.

Out of blue, I miss you.
Do you still remember all the time we spent together?
Can you still recall the fun and excitement we both had back then?
Gundam Seed? Fullmetal Panic Fumoffu? Naruto?
And do you still remember the promise that we hold back then?
The promise that on one fine day we will cycle together again?
Like what we used to do when we were young?
Well, let us both pray for that one fine day to arrive.
I still remember you see.

P/S: By the way, on that day, don't forget to bring me new anime CDs yeah?

[This link really reminds me of you. On that day, lets cycle together like this!

Ungrateful me.

....
I have been thinking all these while, why is this happening to me?
Why it did not happen as what I wished for?
And why I did not get all the good things like others?
Why? Oh God, why?

I have been blaming it all on my ill fate, on myself and on so many things that I could lay my blame on. (which I should not do!)
Until...
until I talked to my friend, Mr Duh Kekwat. (not his real name)
He told me about how difficult life has been back in his place; Canterburry.
He also told me about how he and his friends have to face people with racist remarks and prejudice back there.
Upon hearing it from him, I was really taken aback.

I never know how would I feel if I were in their place.
I never know how would I response if I were in their situation.
Perhaps, if I were them, I won't grumble on such tiny problems I had to face now.
I won't be ungrateful for being given this kind of life.
And, I won't be so ungrateful for what God has planned for me!

Oh God, please forgive me.
Please forgive me for the ungrateful me.
I know I should be grateful for everything that You have given me.
Thank You Allah, Thank You for everything!

"When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: let them also, with a will, listen to My call, and believe in Me: that they may walk in the right way." ( Al-Baqarah: 186)

Smile.

When things are getting hard,
putting on a smile is indeed very painful.
Well, you don't have to force yourself to smile to everyone,
but if you insist to,
at least, please, smile for yourself too.
You know, sometimes when you think others need your smile,
you yourself are actually the one who needs it the most.
So, smile.
Smile for yourself.
Not everyone can do it for you.
Only you.

: I realised something today. Well, God gives us tests according to our ability
and that's why we have our own problems to handle.
But, no matter how different and troublesome our problems are,
He surely has planned something for us. If it is not today, maybe tomorrow.
Please don't lose hope. Trust Him.
You know, I'm trying, so must you.

Running away?

......
There are times when the problem is too difficult to handle,
and running away seems to be the best solution to make.
But isn't running away from that problem is the most idiot solution you can ever make?
You don't solve it by avoiding it.
You are just hiding from it.
Can't you see?
No matter how long you hide, there will be the day you have to face it.
There will be the day when you can no longer run away from it.
So, instead of running away, why don't you face it?
Face it, and let your heart be at peace.
At least, you won't carry the same pain anymore.

A better world. For you and me.

...
There are a lot of people in this small world.
A lot of people with different skin colour, different languages, different cultures, different faiths and different way of thinking.
It is so amazing that in this small world that we share, we encounter such differences.
And it is absolutely fascinating to know that everbody is so different; despite there are millions and millions human beings on this planet, none of us has the same fingerprint!
Isn't God is the Greatest?
Praise be upon Him.

However, not all of us can accept the fact that others are different.
Instead of respecting and understanding the differences that others have, they choose to despise and being prejudice towards those who are different from them.
That is why terms like racist, prejudice and terrorist exist.
These terms exist just because there is no respect and understanding among these people.
They judge others based on their appearance, their skin colour, and their beliefs.
Isn't it sad?

As human beings, we are actually the same.
No matter what or who we are, we have the same feelings like others.
Happy, sad, disappointed, angry, lonely and scared.
All of us have these feelings. Even YOU have these feelings.
So, if you hurt others, others can hurt you back.
What goes around comes around.

Be fair and just in judging others.
RESPECT others.
Doesn't mean others are pure evil when they appear to be different from you.
Doesn't mean others are wrong when they practise their way of life differently compared to you.
Don't simply judge others.
Respect them for who they are.
God Willing, they will respect you for who you are.

Let's pray for a better world. For you and me.

Misunderstanding.

Misunderstanding = Conflicts.
Conflicts = Pain, Regret, Misery.
So, Misunderstanding = Pain, Regret, Misery.

We don't want ourselves to be misunderstood, right?
So I guess, we should at least try not to misunderstand others as well.
A little of trust won't hurt anybody.
So, why don't we trust each other?
I trust you, and I hope you trust me.
Maybe to trust me fully is too much.
But I guess if you can only trust me in this thing, it will be more than enough.

A call.

A call from a friend can mean anything to an individual.
When one is sick, a call can make one feel better.
When one is sad, a call can make one happy.
However, when one is busy, a call will definitely make one feel disturbed.
See. A call means a lot of things, depending on the situation.
So, before you make any call, think first.
Is it the right time to make that call?
Think first.
There is no harm in thinking, right?

[P/S: Sorry, I know I'm craping but I need to write something. I just can't sleep. Sigh.]

I can't think!

I just can't think straight these few days.
I just don't know why.
Something is bothering me.
And it doesn't feel right.
My heart is not at peace.
I don't even know my own heart.
I don't even recognise it's voice.
When I think again, I think I know why.
I seek others before Him.
I think of others more than Him.
Oh God, please forgive me.
And please give me strength.

Too good to be true.

I have this question in my head for quite a long time.

Why does the hero in most of the stories and movies appear to be the perfect man that you ever dreamt of?
And why does he possess all the characteristics a girl would fall for?
Just name it; handsome, intelligent, strong, brave etc. He seems to be THAT kind of guy.
But, in reality, such men are rare to find. Not impossible, but the possibility of you meeting them is like 0.0001%. (Hahaha, I just throw out numbers, but I guess you know what I mean.)

Hey, who doesn't want that kind of guy?
Tell me, who? I definitely want that kind of guy. (Haha..pengakuan yang tak boleh blah)
Well, the same goes to guys. Which guy doesn't want pretty, smart, talented and etc girl?
Admit it. Of course all of us want the best for us.
And indeed, we do want someone perfect as our partner.
But, the truth is; there is NO perfect person in this world.

All of us have our own strength and weaknesses.
I have my own weaknesses, and so do you.
But despite our weaknesses, you and me do have our own strength, don't we?
It is just whether we accept each other as what we are or not.

Don't just simply chase after perfection, but rather, accept the imperfection.
We can't be perfect, but at least we can do our best to be the best.
Believe it or not, no matter who we are, we complete each other.
Without each other, we cannot be who we are now.
And of course, without Him, we are nobody.

To all, thank you for accepting me as what I am.
May God bless all of you.

Kim Bum has the cutest smile, isn't he?
 (Kyaa~ I'm fainting~ )

But still, I love this precious mismatched eyes more than Kim Bum. ehehe

Porridge~

P.O.R.R.I.D.G.E~

Just one word that seems to collocate with it, PORRIDGE = SICK PERSON.

Personally, to make a porridge for a sick person is not an easy task, especially when you never even bother to make one for any sick person in your life before.

Well, Miss Penggemar Buah Oren (not her real name) and I had a problem to make a suitable and yet healthy porridge (which means; with a lot of vegetables and no oil or something like black pepper..? Haha ) for our sick housemate, Miss Penggemar Susu (not her real name also). Miss Penggemar Susu is apparently having difficulties in swallowing food as she keeps vomitting everytime she eats. Pity her. Miss Penggemar Buah Oren and I just cannot stand seeing her like that.

So, since we are good housemates ( chewwah ), we tried to cook her a nice and healthy porridge so that she can at least eat something and gain some energy.

Alhamdulillah, praise be upon God, we were so relieved when she managed to eat it. She even finished it all! Oh my, how happy we were seeing her like that! Thank God. We really pray hard that she will get well soon. Miss Penggemar Susu, be strong!

Seeing sick person like that makes me realise something. We, human, will appreciate our health ONLY when we fall sick.
So, take a good care of yourself and be grateful for being healthy today! It's not fun to be sick you know.

If only...

If only you are able to choose a different path than you take now, will you choose that path?

Will you be perfectly sure and confident that the choice which you are about to make is better?

Will you be contented with your new life? Far more contented than the life you already have now?

If only you are given such opportunity, will you be extremely sure that your future will be better as well?
Will you?

Nobody can assure it. Even you. Even me.
I cannot assure that. You cannot assure that.
Nobody cannot assure that.

After a long pause, I suddenly realise.
God has planned everything.
You just need to trust Him.

"Barangkali kamu membenci sesuatu perkara padahal ianya baik untuk kamu, dan barangkali kamu menyukai sesuatu perkara padahal ianya buruk untuk kamu. Sesungguhnya Allah mengetahui, sedang kamu tidak mengetahui."( Surah Al-Baqarah: 216 )

Melody.Music.Emotion.

Have you ever felt stress and angry?
Have you ever felt lonely and depressed?
Have you ever felt lost and disappointed?
Have you ever felt that in those state of emotions nobody would understand you
and there is no point in explaining what you feel?

For some, the solution is to listen to music.
Any music. And it depends on the individual.
For some, listening to ballad and sentimental songs will definitely soothe one's anger and rage.
For some, listening to rock and pop songs will somehow 'fill in' the loneliness one feels.
And for a few, listening to any kind of melody, no matter how fast or slow the tempo is, will bring back the spirit one lost before.

Melody and musics do soothe one's feelings and emotions.
No matter what kind of musics, they play the same part in one's life.

For me?
It depends on the situation.
But, definitely, nothing can compare with the feeling of calm and tranquility after listening to Quran recitation.
It reminds me of Allah's promises,
and He promises His Servants that He will always be there.
It is only us who forget Him.

Try your best!

"Trying your best to do something is by itself a talent" ( Alphonse Elric, Full Metal Alchemist Manga Chapter 9)

............................................................

Rasulullah pernah bersabda:
"Bahawasanya Allah Taala suka apabila seseorang dari kamu membuat sesuatu kerja, dia memperelokkan kerjanya."

So, do your best in everything you do!
Make an effort, do your best, pray hard and don't forget to put all your hope and trust to Allah Almighty.
InsyaAllah, God Willing, everything will turn out well! :)

: I'm still reading 'Full Metal Alchemist' manga and suddenly I remember about an assignment
which I need to submit a few days more...?
Oh my God, I need to make an effort now.
An effort at least, before it's too late.

My most favourite manga!

"Humankind cannot gain anything without giving something in return.

To obtain, something of equal value must be lost.

This is alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange.
In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth."

(Full Metal Alchemist Manga by Hiromu Arakawa)

For the past few days, I've been so occupied with this manga (manga is a Japanese word for comics). It is one of my favourite mangas and  I think I will never get bored reading it. Fuhhhh, what a confession. What an obsession! Well, the real thing is, I'm more addicted to manga than anime.
But seriously, this manga is very different compared to other mangas that I've ever read in my whole life.
OK, except the fact that it is set in a fictional world, this manga is full of adventure and unexpected 'turn-outs'. Plus, with the themes of sacrifice, brotherhood and humanity, this manga is totally a superb one! Really! ( Maaf, ter'excited' sekejap. Haha)

I always become so frustrated with certain people who do not accept reading manga as something beneficial. For me, reading this kind of manga really 'boost' my spirit and it does make my day lively. Arggghhh stop saying reading manga is a waste of time! You just don't know the benefits of it because you never read it! ( Adeh, ter'emo' laa pulak, ahha ) The thing is, if you know how to make it beneficial, even unbeneficial things or activities will become beneficial eventually. It depends on how you manage it.

Well, this is one of my favourite scenes in this manga. You'll know why I love it!

(Sangat-sangat memberi kesan kan? The impact of his words is so huge on me. I promise I will try my best to stand up and move forward everytime I face difficulties! Ganbatte!! )

RINDU.

I miss my family, my friends, my cats, my manga(s) and Malaysia on the whole! REALLY. I really2 miss all of them. And now, after about three months here in United Kingdom, I know how absence makes heart grow fonder. No matter where they are, I pray hard so that Allah will always hold them in His hand.

I hope you guys are doing fine right now. :)
For those who are with their beloved ones right now, DO, do value them while they are still there with you. Because, when they are no longer there by your side, you will know how painful it is to be missing them. But alas, no matter how lonely you feel, Allah is always there with you. Just remember that! :)
