Unexpected call.

I received an unexpected call from my mom.
"Abah had an accident," she said.

And there I was, staring blankly ahead with countless thoughts and scenario in my head.

"Quick everyone, we have to go and fetch mom from her office and speed to the hospital."

The perks of being the eldest sister in the family.

........................

I am grateful to Allah that it is nothing fatal.
I am grateful to Allah despite everything, we are there for each other.
I am grateful to Allah my mom and I could drive (safely) despite the mix of emotions we had.
I am grateful to Allah that my dear Abah is doing fine.
I am grateful to Allah for the prayers and support from my dear friends.

Another lesson to be grateful, dear self.

Patience is bitter, but the reward is sweet.

.................

Most people when they are happy,
they tend to forget the less fortunate ones.

Be grateful, dear self.

I hear you, but I don't listen.

When we collide we come together

for they shall never be broken."

........................

This is the time when most of us are tested in our own ways.
Be considerate. Be kind.
Don't expect people to act the same way like you do.

How would you know they'll act like you,
if you yourself are not in their shoes?

Don't spread rumours. Do spread love and support.
Don't throw jokes. Do give prayers.
Be considerate. Be kind.
Everyone is fighting their own kind of battle.

Pray for MH370.
Pray for humanity.
Pray for God's blessings and grace.

And oh, by the way, I am re-watching an old Thai drama; Wanida.

For a hopeless romantic like me.

Oh baby I think that I am falling in love with you

This is too cute to handle for a hopeless romantic like me. Another hopeless romantic friend of mine suggested this Thai lakorn (drama) to me and ohhh, I am hooked. Episode by episode and I can't help feeling all giddy giddy looking at them. Urghhh, why so cuteeeee?

And still, after all this time, the Sun has never said to the Earth, “You owe me.”
Look what happens with love like that. It lights up the sky.

“No relationship is perfect, ever. There are always some ways you have to bend, to compromise, to give something up in order to gain something greater…The love we have for each other is bigger than these small differences. And that’s the key. It’s like a big pie chart, and the love in a relationship has to be the biggest piece. Love can make up for a lot.”
— Sarah Dessen, This Lullaby
