Thanks.
One magic word which most people tend to forget about.
Do you know that this one simple word has a very big impact on someone's life?
Whether you notice it or not, sometimes, at some point of your life, you feel like wanting to hear that word the most even after you do something that you usually do to others.
For example?
Hurm, just picture yourself in this situation.
You usually help your mother to hang clothes every morning and on every single morning you will hang those clothes without any fuss or complaints.
One fine day, you wake up as usual and find that a big pile of wet clothes are already there for you.
But this time, there are more clothes than usual and unfortunately, on that very morning, you have something else to do.
Considering that you have not enough time to hang all those clothes and it will be tiring for you alone to do so, you look at your siblings and give them a signal for help by making a sad face and telling them you have something to do later
(it's a hint actually!). However, there are people who just don't have that common sense and apparently, that morning, your siblings are one of those no-common-sense people. They just say, "Oh, okay" and continue watching their TV series.
You feel like wanting to scream your lung out and crying at the same time but thinking that no one will hang those clothes apart from you, you keep all those emotions in your heart and quickly hang those clothes.
After you finish doing so, you enter the house and you feel like you deserve a recognition for what you have done.
You look at the people around you and to your dismay, nobody even notices you and nobody says anything to you.
Not a single word of gratitude for hanging the clothes despite the amount of the clothes and the fact that you have something else to do that morning.
How do you feel if this happen to you?
What do exactly you need to comfort you?
If I were in the above situation, I need nothing apart from the word "thanks".
"Thanks" will just do.
It's not that I am not sincere to do such stuff and it's not because I want to get praised.
I just want some acknowledgement for the things that I have done.
I don't want money. I don't want fame. I don't want presents.
All I need is just a word.
And that magic word is,
"Thanks."
So, please, whenever someone is helping you directly or indirectly, no matter who they are, please don't forget to say thank you.
Even though they might not ask for it, they do deserve it.
"Sesiapa yang tidak mengucapkan terima kasih bererti dia tidak berterima kasih kepada Allah."

: I always feel burdened whenever I was asked to do chores at home,
but somehow I would do most of them.
You know why? Because I think by doing so, I also help my mother.
Even though she never say thanks to me, but because she is my mother,
I should do that as my way of saying thanks for raising me.
Thank you Mak. Thank you for everything.
