Le Ballon rouge.

Le Ballon rouge.

Le Ballon rouge is a 1956 fantasy short film, directed by French filmmaker Albert Lamorisse.

"Pascal, a young Parisian boy, retrieves a red balloon tied to a lamppost,
only to discover that it seems to have a mind and personality of its own.
At times the balloon follows him around like a loyal dog, at others like a teasing best friend.
The two form an almost inseparable bond, one that only an uncaring world would dare to break."

Oh, this film is so simple yet touching.

Rethink and reflect.

"Illuminati & Freemason hanyalah sebahagian daripada jahiliyyah.
Bukanlah Jahiliyyah itu hanya Illuminati & Freemason.
Maka orang yang faham perkara ini, tolak sesuatu itu
sebab ianya bertentangan dengan apa yang Allah SWT arahkan.
Bukan sebab ada tanda tiga segi ke, kotak hitam putih ke, ada tanda mata satu ke.
Fikir balik. Muhasabah betul-betul."

Well, to me, especially.
And I hope, to you too.
Smile, dear.

Maybe not today, but He will definitely give it to you.

1st Muharram

Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal

"Don't ask things to be easier, ask ourselves to be better."
SALAM MAAL HIJRAH

Trauma.

I'm listening to: You Wouldn't Answer My Calls

For those who had once encountered a certain failure or lost or tragedy, they will always have this kind of feeling.
Trauma.
Me?
Yes, I had a trauma.
A trauma in completing my work, especially assignment.
Of course. Who wouldn't feel such trauma especially after a few series of unfortunate events happened just because of assignments.

Okay, here goes my series of unfortunate events in the history of completing assignments.

First; after writing for hours and hours non-stop (okay, I'm exaggerating here), the laptop suddenly goes blank. What more if you forgot to save the work beforehand and by the time you search for the auto save version, then only you realise that you forgot to programme your laptop to auto save your work. Well, whether you like it or not, you just have to write it all again. Urgh, I hate this kind of thing.

Second; well, I guess most of us had faced this kind of thing at least once. The printer suddenly goes 'crazy' and betrays us especially when we want to print the assignment as the dateline is on the very same day. Or the next day. Oh, it is so frustrating, right? Huh, this is the last thing that I want it to happen on the day of submission.

Third; when you have put all your effort in designing things involving technology, then suddenly the system backfires you. By the time you try to restore things back and look for back-ups, pity you, you find nothing. You have no other option than having to start things from scratch. That's the hardest and the saddest part ever.

These are the things that I encountered in my history of completing assignments. So, don't blame me for being so traumatised.

Well, God won't test those who cannot bear it.
He knows that I can go through all of these, that's why He chose me.
So, I must be strong and grateful at the same time.
Why? Because, out of many people out there, I am chosen.
Be strong and trust Him.
For every mishap, there is a blessing a disguise. Trust Him!

[Tahukah kamu bahawa ujian itu juga adalah salah satu bentuk tarbiyah dariNya?]

: 07.20 p.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: For those who face any of the things above, be patient. Isn't God will always be among those who are patient? But still, next time, be prepared for the worst. Who knows what kind of things will happen. So, be prepared.

Meal for the soul 3

Al-Hasan Al-Basri said:
“Seek sweet happiness in three things: performing prayer, remembering Allah, and reading the Holy Quran. If you find (delight in those three things), it is alright. But if you do not, it means that the door (to Allah’s Love and Mercy) is closed; so search for the reason.”

Long Vacation.

Does anybody remember about a Japanese drama series entitled Long Vacation?

Winter break is approaching.
Amidst the excitement and anticipation to have a snowy and cold holidays,
most of us are struggling hard in completing a bunch of assignments which need to be handed in near time.
Assignments. Assignments. Assignments.
Hey, that's what we call a student's life!
(-_-") *sigh*

Work it out people!
Don't be lazy!
You especially!
Yes, I'm talking to you dear Penggemar Biskut Bijan!

Oh, so gothic!

Gothic.
How do you define gothic?
You are asking me?
Hehehe. My definition of gothic will be this MV~

Opps, it's a Korean song.
Sorry, I can't help it.
In case you don't know, I am more into Kpop, Jpop, anime series, manga and things like that.
They are all my cup of tea. I mean, my interests.
I just can't pretend that I don't like them.
However, it doesn't mean that I don't look at other things apart from them.
I do, but probably because I don't explicitly show that I do, it seems like I don't.
But I do look at other things as well!
Oh, how should I explain this?
...
...
Hey, I believe you have your own interests too, right?
So, you should know what I mean!
Heh.

Oh, so gothic!

"I used to touch the sky, but now I'm down to the floor."

: 30th November 2010.
: 01.24 a.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: Suddenly I'm thinking of watching an old Korean drama series; Full House. Oh no dear, you have a bundle of work to do! Please restrain yourself! Huh.

Candles.

Pernah langkahku payah
Menuju ke destinasi
Kerana malam gelap
Dan bintang hilang kerdipnya
Menjadikan arahku keliru
Ke timur atau ke barat

Bagai lilin membakar diri
Menerangi kegelapan hati
Kau curahkan bakti dan budi
Jasamu tiada berganti

Namun tanpa rasa payah
Dia memimpin tanganku
Melangkah satu persatu
Dan mencipta jejak impian
Menjadikan arahku jelas
Aku harus ke hadapan

Ohoo... aku kini rindu
Pada satu nama yang berjasa
Tuhan... beri kekuatan
Untuk mendidikku selamanya
Ku pohon restu kasihmu
Ampunkanlah guru-guruku

Semalam ku lihat dia
Di bibirnya ada kalimah
Yang bergetar saban waktu
Sambil tangan menggenggam lilin
Lilin yang tiada terpadam
Menerangi hidupku kini

Song title: Lilin Seorang Guru

*The very same song my schoolmates would sing every Teachers' Day in my former secondary school.
Dear Irshadians, don't you guys miss to hear this song performed on our school stage again?
If you guys don't, I do.

: 29th November 2010.
: 10.51 p.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: Suddenly thinking of this song.
I don't have to wait for a specific day like Teachers' Day to post this song, do I?
Seriously, I miss all my teachers. I tried to remember all those faces and names but I just couldn't do so.
Dear teachers, no matter who or where you are, I pray that you will always be blessed by Him.
Thanks for who I am now.

A Delayed Answer.

I'm listening to: Permataku

A delayed answer,
doesn't mean God is unconcerned,
but rather, He has a larger purpose for his timing.
Trust Him!

: 10.15 p.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.

The Haninozuka Way.

Hey assignments!
Do you think I'm scared?
Nahh.
No matter how lack of materials I am,
no matter how blurred I am,
no matter how lazy I am,
I will definitely face you!
I will settle everything the Haninozuka way, like true men!
Heh.

*head banging*

Oh Allah, I pray You. Please help me through this.
Rabbi Yassir wala Tu'assir.

: 28th November 2010.
: 10.30 p.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: Ohhh assignments. Do you know how I love you for making me more hardworking than I was before? See. How many posts did I write today? Thanks to you dear assignments. Heh.

My Mom is Amazing.

I love the lyrics of this song.
Why?
Because my mom is amazing!

But, as I listen to the ending of this song, the last few sentences of the lyrics struck me.
Try listening to this song and you will know.

: 28th November 2010.
: 10.00 p.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: Thank you Allah for my mother.
Please take a good care of her just like she takes a good care of me since I was small.
No, my mistake. I take that back.
Please take a good care of her more than she takes care of me.
Why? Because, I love her so much. As much as she loves me.

Jellyfish.

Awwwww, isn't it sweet?
For a blurred Patrick Starfish, his answer is so sweet.
But hey Mr. Starfish,
rather than waiting and do nothing, why don't you do some work instead?
Like helping Spongebob Squarepants to catch the jellyfish or helping him to take care of Garry?
That will be more meaningful, don't you think so?

Time flies.

Even we all have the same 24 hours, time does fly faster.
Especially if we have work to do.
If not, even a minute feels like an hour.

: 28th November 2010.
: 09.44 p.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: Do I have work to do? Ahhh, assignment! How can I forget about that?!

Private.

When I did it, I have my own reasons.
Oh, yeah. Everything happens for a reason.
Sometimes I forget about that.
See, even the day is getting darker, the birds are telling me to smile.
Isn't God is Amazing?

: 28th November 2010.
: 09.40 p.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: Actually, I have been thinking of deleting this blog for quite a few times.
I have my own reasons. But I ended up privating it.
I never realise privating it will be an issue, so, this time, I decided to publicise it again.
And it's all because of you.

The power of thanks.

Thanks.
One magic word which most people tend to forget about.

Do you know that this one simple word has a very big impact on someone's life?
Whether you notice it or not, sometimes, at some point of your life, you feel like wanting to hear that word the most even after you do something that you usually do to others.

For example?
Hurm, just picture yourself in this situation.
You usually help your mother to hang clothes every morning and on every single morning you will hang those clothes without any fuss or complaints.
One fine day, you wake up as usual and find that a big pile of wet clothes are already there for you.
But this time, there are more clothes than usual and unfortunately, on that very morning, you have something else to do.
Considering that you have not enough time to hang all those clothes and it will be tiring for you alone to do so, you look at your siblings and give them a signal for help by making a sad face and telling them you have something to do later (it's a hint actually!). However, there are people who just don't have that common sense and apparently, that morning, your siblings are one of those no-common-sense people. They just say, "Oh, okay" and continue watching their TV series.
You feel like wanting to scream your lung out and crying at the same time but thinking that no one will hang those clothes apart from you, you keep all those emotions in your heart and quickly hang those clothes.
After you finish doing so, you enter the house and you feel like you deserve a recognition for what you have done.
You look at the people around you and to your dismay, nobody even notices you and nobody says anything to you.
Not a single word of gratitude for hanging the clothes despite the amount of the clothes and the fact that you have something else to do that morning.

How do you feel if this happen to you?
What do exactly you need to comfort you?

If I were in the above situation, I need nothing apart from the word "thanks".
"Thanks" will just do.
It's not that I am not sincere to do such stuff and it's not because I want to get praised.
I just want some acknowledgement for the things that I have done.
I don't want money. I don't want fame. I don't want presents.
All I need is just a word.
And that magic word is,
"Thanks."

So, please, whenever someone is helping you directly or indirectly, no matter who they are, please don't forget to say thank you.
Even though they might not ask for it, they do deserve it.

"Sesiapa yang tidak mengucapkan terima kasih bererti dia tidak berterima kasih kepada Allah."

: 17th November 2010.
: 09.07 p.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: I always feel burdened whenever I was asked to do chores at home,
but somehow I would do most of them.
You know why? Because I think by doing so, I also help my mother.
Even though she never say thanks to me, but because she is my mother,
I should do that as my way of saying thanks for raising me.
Thank you Mak. Thank you for everything.

Thought 3

The easiest way to not get hurt is to not care,
but that's the hardest thing to do.

Monday, 8 November 2010

Ice cream.

I act differently around different people.

Mind you, I’m not fake.

I just have my own comfort zone.

That’s why I only can completely be myself when I’m with people I’m comfortable with.

Caramel.

Each day, I notice that there will be times where people will definitely talk about love, relationship and marriage. Well, after going through so many things, I just don't know what to comment on. I just don't feel like doing so at the moment.

There are many people out there who are always worried about things like this.
Without any doubt, I am one of them.
I bet you too.

But hey, why bother worrying about things that God had already planned for us?
The right person will appear. It's only the matter of time.
The time will come. Just keep believing.

In the mean time, while waiting for that right time and person, why don't we make use of the time that we have now to equip ourselves with every criteria needed.
Of course, if you want a good partner, you yourself must be good as well.
Marriage is not a picnic.
Marriage comes with responsibilities. Huge responsibilities.
Oh well. You yourself know what you want.
And you yourself know that things won't come into your hand just like that.
So, off you go and work hard for it!
Heh.

By the way, I find that this song is very cute. Both the MV and lyrics. Hahaha.

A little of something.

There's always a little truth behind every "just kidding",
A little knowledge behind every "I don't know",
A little emotion behind every "I don't care",
A little pain behind every "I'm okay".

Don't you think so?

Sunday, 24 October 2010

Thanks.

Things were upside down for me these past few days.
Still, God blessed me with the presence of my friends, who never fail to support me and cheer me up with everything that they can.

Dear friends, indeed I am so thankful.
I can't thank you enough for everything that you guys have done.
Thank you so much.
Thank you for making me smile throughout these hard and difficult days.

And thank you for this song that you gave me.
It really makes my day.
May God bless you.

Abracadabra

I just noticed this.
As time passes by, why do we tend to worry too much about the unknown future ahead of us
and forget the fun we had before?
Oh, I just miss the old times.
Can we go back to that time again?
I want to laugh out loud together with you.
