Of Aizen Sosuke, Hueco Mundo and an old manga.

Let me go, I don't wanna be your hero

........................

I spent my three-day-weekend by reading; particularly manga. I don't know why, but old habits die hard I guess. Even after I promised myself to move on from the childlike-world of manga and anime, the longing to read old manga came without me realising it. And after almost two years without manga (yup, the last time I read manga was actually the last year I was in the U.K), I finally clicked the manga site and bammmmm! I was glued to my chair and my eyes were strained for reading on the screen for a very looooooooooong period. Aishhh, I need to grow up!
Alas, I have been reading Bleach once again. I actually forgot what was the last chapter I read years ago, so, I randomly clicked on any chapter and yeah; I am now falling deeper into the twisting plot. And this time, instead of Hitsugaya Toushiro, the taichou who captured my heart from the beginning of the manga, I find that I am now attracted to Aizen Sosuke, the betrayer of the Soul Society. Oh gosh, he is the villain. Why did I find him attractive? Whyyyyyyyyy? (I think most probably because of his new hair ahhahaha :p )

Today's date is once every four years. Wohoo.

Cry me a river

Note: The rule of reading a manga script is from the right to the left.

Replace the word "beach" with "home".
Okay, I admit. I am homesick. Heh.

Two places that are the most valuable in the world:
Nicest place is to be in someone's thoughts
and safest place is to be in someone's prayers.

The other definition of hope:
Hold on. Pain ends.

"The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts."
(Marcus Antonius)

I hate how I don’t have the guts to tell people when and why they upset me; I just end up developing grudges that pile up and make me feel like a terrible person, other than a horrible friend.

Oh Allah, please give me strength to be patient. I am just not that strong.

Final Chapter?

Final Chapter?
Nahhh, think again.

It is actually the beginning of a New Chapter.

The final chapter.

A lesson without pain is meaningless,
for you cannot gain something without sacrificing something else in return.
But once you have overcome it and made it your own,
you will gain an irreplaceable fullmetal heart.

- Elric, Full Metal Alchemist Manga

: At last, this manga has come to an end.
I'm gonna miss the feeling of waiting for every new chapter each month.

Read and read and read.

For these past few days, I spent almost all my leisure time doing nothing but reading.
I was an avid reader before, but as time goes by, my passion towards reading is decreasing little by little. Until to the extent that I did not even touch a single book at all.
Only after one incident, I realised that I must continue reading.
Well, put aside reading manga (Japanese comics). I don't really consider reading manga as a real reading here. (Because I actually spend my every one hour reading manga everyday! Haha)I have read a couple of books now, and I am really happy doing so.
Because books are the best companions that I have right now. They often have the right words that I always search for. They always have the power to help me escape from this wild world. They never stop providing all the essence of knowledge and inspiration that I need. They are the best!
Besides, isn't reading the first thing that God urges us to?

"Bacalah dengan nama Tuhanmu yang menciptakan. Yang menciptakan manusia dari segumpal darah." [Al-Alaq: 1-2]

: 24th March 2010.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: I miss my books back there in my little room in Malaysia.
Those are the books that cannot be replaced by any other books that I have in my hands now.

Running away?

......
There are times when the problem is too difficult to handle,
and running away seems to be the best solution to make.
But isn't running away from that problem is the most idiot solution you can ever make?
You don't solve it by avoiding it.
You are just hiding from it.
Can't you see?
No matter how long you hide, there will be the day you have to face it.
There will be the day when you can no longer run away from it.
So, instead of running away, why don't you face it?
Face it, and let your heart be at peace.
At least, you won't carry the same pain anymore.

: 21st January 2010.
: 10.36 p.m.
: Plymouth, U.K.
: I'm totally indulged in this 'Full Metal Alchemist' manga
Their pain is too unbearable for me to continue reading,
but I guess, there is no turning back.
I have to continue. Even it causes me a lot of pain.

Try your best!

"Trying your best to do something is by itself a talent" ( Alphonse Elric, Full Metal Alchemist Manga Chapter 9)

............................................................

Rasulullah pernah bersabda:
"Bahawasanya Allah Taala suka apabila seseorang dari kamu membuat sesuatu kerja, dia memperelokkan kerjanya."

So, do your best in everything you do!
Make an effort, do your best, pray hard and don't forget to put all your hope and trust to Allah Almighty.
InsyaAllah, God Willing, everything will turn out well! :)

: I'm still reading 'Full Metal Alchemist' manga and suddenly I remember about an assignment
which I need to submit a few days more...?
Oh my God, I need to make an effort now.
An effort at least, before it's too late.

My most favourite manga!

"Humankind cannot gain anything without giving something in return.

To obtain, something of equal value must be lost.

This is alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange.
In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth."

For the past few days, I've been so occupied with this manga (manga is a Japanese word for comics). It is one of my favourite mangas and  I think I will never get bored reading it. Fuhhhh, what a confession. What an obsession! Well, the real thing is, I'm more addicted to manga than anime.
But seriously, this manga is very different compared to other mangas that I've ever read in my whole life.
OK, except the fact that it is set in a fictional world, this manga is full of adventure and unexpected 'turn-outs'. Plus, with the themes of sacrifice, brotherhood and humanity, this manga is totally a superb one! Really! ( Maaf, ter'excited' sekejap. Haha)

I always become so frustrated with certain people who do not accept reading manga as something beneficial. For me, reading this kind of manga really 'boost' my spirit and it does make my day lively. Arggghhh stop saying reading manga is a waste of time! You just don't know the benefits of it because you never read it! ( Adeh, ter'emo' laa pulak, ahha ) The thing is, if you know how to make it beneficial, even unbeneficial things or activities will become beneficial eventually. It depends on how you manage it.

Well, this is one of my favourite scenes in this manga. You'll know why I love it!

(Sangat-sangat memberi kesan kan? The impact of his words is so huge on me. I promise I will try my best to stand up and move forward everytime I face difficulties! Ganbatte!! )
