Life is funny, isn't it?

Life is funny, isn't it?

Or is it because I am the only one who is laughing now?

Or should I cry instead?

Life is funny. Really.
I mean it.
How could you do this to me.

We are losing each other as time passes by, aren't we?

Too often we lose the touch of nature just because we are too immersed in the virtual world.  And whether we realise it or not, we are slowly losing touch of friendship just because we spend too much time on the web and communicate too much via technology.

Not that I'm saying that technology is a bad thing, without technology life definitely would be difficult, but sometimes I feel that people spend too much in the virtual world until they forget that the most valuable and precious things that God provides are just around them. To be valued. To be appreciated. To be loved. To be enjoyed.

People spend so much time browsing for good drama series, pictures and gossips on the web while they can just spend a good couple of hours with friends; laughing, gossiping talking, walking together and even eating together.
The feeling of sharing the laughter and smiles on each friend is slowly drifting away. The time and moment to be spent together outside there is slowly being forgotten and put aside. To watch a drama series on the internet is much more important and interesting that spending time visiting friends and asking their well-beings. People will only meet each other if there is an extremely important reason to do so. Or if there is a benefit for them in return.

Good things might go away some day, so do people. What more friends. Things on the web will always be there, but living things won't. They might disappear from your life one day.

I can't deny the fact that I am an avid online user. I enjoy watching anime series, reading comics and even communicating with my friends via Facebook and Skype, but I can't help the feeling of missing something out there.  I can't help feeling lonely even though I have so many things to watch, a lot of friends whom I often like and comment on their statuses on Facebook, and a lot of things to be googled every minute and every second.

Have you ever felt this way too?
At first I thought it was just because of the stress that I currently suffer from due to my assignment, but as I thought over it all over again, that was not the reason.

I think I feel that way because I spent too much time on the web; forgetting that I have friends out there, in the real world; forgetting that the stars are shining even brightly than those picture on the internet; forgetting that the trees and grass are far greener seeing it with my own eyes; forgetting that the feeling of stroking a cat is even lovelier than just looking at a picture of it on the internet.

Huhhhh. See, instead of writing this on the paper, I type it and put it on the web. Great. I think I am about to lose my beautiful writing as days pass by. (-_-")

I want to close my eyes and ears and just feel the wind gently brushes my skin.

: I think I have been hanging around too much at my friends' houses,
sorry for any inconvenience caused and thanks for having me. I appreciate that.
Do come to my room whenever you guys are free, okay?
It's not fair if it's only me who go to your house, so next time, it's your turn!
You guys just don't know how glad I am to have people hanging around in my room.
We can watch a lot of videos together, heeee. Opps, not internet again. :P

The fastest thing on earth?

WHAT’S THE FASTEST THING ON EARTH?

Weather Reporter: “A typhoon or tornado.”
Doctor: “An arrow.”
Engineer: “A bullet.”
Scientist: “Light. It travels 6 Billion Miles in one light year.”

But a FARMER answered: “PRAYER. It reaches GOD in HEAVEN even before you can say it.”

:I like this. very much.

The stars.

When it is dark enough, you can see the stars.

Hak orang muslim

Rasulullah SAW bersabda,
"Apabila engkau bertemu dengan saudara muslim yang lain, maka ucapkanlah salam kepadanya; Apabila ia mengundangmu, maka penuhilah undangannya; Apabila ia meminta nasihat kepadamu, maka berikanlah nasihat kepadanya; Apabila ia bersin dan mengucapkan al hamdu lillah, maka ucapkanlah yarhamukallah; Apabila ia sakit maka ziarahlah; Apabila ia meninggal dunia, maka hantarkanlah sampai ke kuburnya."

I'm such a kid.

Sorry.
I'm really sorry for not being myself lately.

I'm not mad at anybody.
I'm just mad at myself,
I'm really really mad at myself,
for being such a kid.

A kid who sulks over small things.
A kid who easily gets angry over trivial matters.
A kid who throws tantrum for being left alone.
A kid who wants people to pat on the back
and tell that she is loved.

But...
is it wrong for me to be sulking over the 'thank you' that never came?

If so, I guess I really am a kid.
That's why people don't take me seriously,
That's why people don't listen to me,
That's why people think that I don't mind,
That's why people leave me by myself.
So much for being a kid.

I'm sorry.
I should stop being a kid.
Just ignore me, I'll be okay eventually.
Just like a kid, I'll get over it soon.
Just like a kid who has been left alone with toys and cookies,
I'll forget about it and start laughing again.

Yup, I'm such a kid.
Just ignore me then.

Urgh.
I am emotionally imbalanced and I'm not proud of it.

Caught red-handed?

Oh, this is cute and funny!

You both made my day.
*forever laughing*

Feeling blue.

I feel lonely.
Even though I have a lot of friends around me, I feel lonely.
Seriously.
You don't know how lonely I am.
You just don't know.
Because of the smiles that I always wear,
the "I'm okay" that I always give.
You just don't know.

After all, I'm just plain human.
Sometimes, I find it difficult to be positive.
Sometimes, I find it hard to stand strong.
I'm just plain human.
That's why I need a shoulder to lean on.
That's why I need an ear that's willing to listen.
But unfortunately, there's none.
That's why I feel lonely.

I need someone to be with me.
Even just for a while.
Be with me, without having me to tell you.
Will you?

Sorry.
I'm such a kid, right?
Just ignore me.

I'm not amused.

Something happened and I'm not amused. At all.

5 centimeters per second.

5 centimeters per second.

Anime (movie) review:

A tale of two people, Tono Takaki and Shinohara Akari, who were close friends but gradually grow farther and farther apart as time moves on. They become separated because of their families yet continue to exchange contact in the form of letters. Yet as time continues to trudge on, their contact with one another begins to cease.
Years pass and the rift between them grows ever larger. However, Takaki remembers the times they have shared together, but as life continues to unfold for him, he wonders if he would be given the chance to meet Akari again as the tale embarks on Takaki’s realization of the world and people around him.
This is a movie in 3 parts that follows the thoughts and relationship of 2 young people as they meet and part, both from their point of view and from people around them.

The movie is named 5 Centimeters Per Second for the speed at which cherry blossom (a.k.a sakura) petals fall, petals being a metaphorical representation of humans, reminiscent of the slowness of life and how people often start together but slowly drift into their separate ways.

Such a significant name yet very melancholic, don't you think so?

: For your information, the image header of this blog (right now) is taken from this movie.
Why? Because of the melancholic feeling that it gives me every time I look at it.
I don't know why, maybe because of the sakura tree.
I always find sakura trees to be very melancholic.

The problem is not you, but me.

"I don't know why, but no matter what he does, even though it is what I like, I just couldn't accept it!"
"I know what your problem is. It is not that you don't like the things that he does, you actually don't like him to do it. If it is somebody else, I guess it won't be a problem at all, isn't it?", she deduced.

...........

Deep in my heart, I agreed. Well, what I'm about to say is maybe not related to the dialogues above but yeah, I guess what's in the heart determines what one's action and decision are. Everything that one does, reflects what one has in one's heart and mind. Because, no matter how happy one might look or claim, if one just doesn't like it, it will eventually show. Even it is not shown on one's face, one's actions are enough to do the talking. But alas, not all of us have the 'senses' and 'eyes' that are sensitive enough to detect one's true feelings. People often say, "It's common sense!", but for me, it is not as common as they claim. If it is, no one will suffer from why-they-got-no-common-sense dilemma!

By the way, I find that this sentence is very interesting; taken from one of my friends' post in Facebook:
"True love is like GHOSTS, which everybody talks about and few have seen" [La Rochefoucauld- author]
Have you find your ghost?

"GHOST?!!"

Believe in Him.

My heart is so small
it’s almost invisible.
How can You place

“your eyes are even smaller,
yet they behold the world."

: I want to spend my free time watching Ouran High School anime after this.
Kinda miss Honey-senpai and his "honto?". Kawaii~
But when I think again, I have a few assignments to be completed. Oh.

A true Muslim.

This is a very long post.
If you have no patience in reading a long post,
you are advisable not to read it.

......................................................................................................

I happened to read this while browsing through the internet. This post is actually an answer to a question posted by an anonymous to a Muslim girl. The answer given is so well-explained and may Allah bless her for effort. A lot of people out there may have the same question in their head and I thought of sharing it here.

Anonymous:

i respect all religions and cultures, but i cant respect this. i cant respect that muslim women are forced to cover virtually every part of their body except for their eyes. i cant respect that muslim women have to slip food under their burka if they want to eat in public. i cant respect that some muslim women are beaten if they show there arms, or wear a little bit of makeup. i just cant respect that. i cant respect that i was in spain one time, eating at a restaurant and i saw a husband slap his wife across the face for shaking the waiters hand. this all disgusts me. they are not sacred or “holy” by doing this, they are getting abused. if not physically, then absolutely mentally. and that, is something i cant respect.

The girl answered:

{rabbi ishrah lee sadree,Wayassir lee amree,Waohlul AAuqdatan mi(n) lisanee,Yafqahoo qawlee} Surah Taha ayah’s 25-28.

I would like to address this matter in the most civilized and patient way possible. I am not answering this to encourage hate or bigotry, nor am I answering this post because I wish to insult someone. I am answering this because this woman that is covered is me. She is Me and I am her.

Cats with thumbs?

 .
While browsing through the internet, I found this cute advertisement.
It reminds me of my cats back in Malaysia.
And also, it reminds me of milk. I rarely drink milk nowadays. I think I should. Or else my body will be lacked of calcium. When that happens, I might have get a few diseases such as osteoporosis. Oh no, I don't want to get osteoporosis! *quickly run off to the kitchen and grab a glass of milk*

Oh, by the way, check this out.

Never leave them alone.

Sometimes,
the person who tries to keep everyone happy
is always the most lonely person,
so never leave them alone
because they will never say that they need you.

Shipwreck Survivor

Shipwreck Survivor

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He feverishly made Du’a for Allah to rescue him.

Every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions.

One day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, with smoke rolling up to the sky. He felt the worst had happened, and everything was lost. He was stunned with disbelief, grief, and anger.

He cried out, ‘Oh Allah! How could you do this to me?’

Early the next day, he was awakened by the sound of a ship approaching the island! It had come to rescue him!

‘How did you know I was here?’ asked the weary man of his rescuers.
’We saw your smoke signal,’ they replied.

The Moral of This Story:

It’s easy to get discouraged when things are going bad,but we shouldn’t lose heart, because Allah is at work in our lives, even in the midst of our pain and suffering.

Note: Remember that the next time your little hut seems to be burning to the ground. It just may be a smoke signal that summons the Mercy of Allah.

A little hug for me, please?

"To many souls reality is a lonely, painful experience with nowhere to turn."

A hug is a way to share both good and bad times with others.
A hug can create a connection that one cannot express in words.
Even a small hug generally makes everyone feel good.
A hug can make one feel safe and secure. It can lift our spirits and make us smile.
Some people are not comfortable with the physical embrace, yet a quick hug can go a long way.
A hug is meant for everyone.

So, a little hug for me, please?

The meaning of being alone.

Our language has wisely sensed
the two sides of being alone.

It has created the word “loneliness”
to express the pain of being alone.

And it has created the word “solitude”
to express the glory of being alone.
